  • For every RETH¿NK  t-shirt made out of 100% recycled PET (RPET), approximately 10 plastic bottles are kept out of landfills and oceans
  • Advantages of recycled PET over virgin PET include: 66% less energy usage, 66% less sulphur dioxide emissions, 50% less of nitrous oxide emissions and 90% less water usage
  • By recycling PET we create less demand for petroleum products and environmental impact from processing of the petroleum into virgin PET

RETH¿NK: Recycled

  • Less than 10% of plastic bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled, most are incorrectly dumped in our landfills and oceans
  • Recycling saves energy, reduces the need for landfills and decreases emissions of green house gases (EPA)
  • We use recycled plastic instead of virgin PET to create our our sustainable products
  • We collect the plastic from recycling centers then strip, wash, crush, flake and stretch to create fibers for production into RETH¿NK FABRICS
