A classic Venice Beach home provided a perfect backdrop to our photo shoot this summer.  We had a great time showing off some of the product produced using our line of RETH?NK FABRICS!  Thanks to our photographer Kristine Ambrose, Models Mitchell (Green Truck), Lisa (Love this Planet), Katherine Nguyen and other!

Look for a new fall catalog coming soon!

“Aston Michael Channels Morrissey, Bondage Sybolism for Spring 2011″  - the line debuted at New York Fashion Week’s GreenShows, a first time show at Fashion Week!

‎”For his S/S 2011 capsule collection entitled “Black Label” he teamed up with Reth?nk Fabric Solutions who provided all fabrics made from recycled water bottles, bamboo, tensile, and organic cotton. Having worked with Reth?nk Fabric Solutions in late 2009 creating all the tour shirts for The Black Eyed Peas, this was the opportunity to take it one step further and create a rock & roll, fashion forward collection.” fashionandrunway.com

WILL.I.AM & Fergie at Staple Center

‘I Got A Feeling” that the strong clean energy economy partnership between Black Eyed PeasGreen for All The League of Conservation Voters and RETH¿NK  is gonna be the catalyst to more movements like this one.

I was lucky enough to attend the LA stop of the Black Eyed Peas E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) Concert Tour in LA and see first-hand the recycling and educational program that is taking place on every stop of the tour.  WILL.I.AM, Fergie, Apl and Taboo and their team have taken the green movement to an entirely new level and made it easy, open and cool for all people – young, old, black, white, rich, poor – everyone!

When you arrive at the concert, you can’t miss the RETH¿NK army of volunteers stopping all the concert-goers to let them know that the Black Eyed Peas are recycling at every stop on the tour, getting people to sign a petition for clean energy economy, and handing out educational information where you can text in to get more involved and win a RETH¿NK t-shirt made from recycled plastics bottles.

“Text 41411 to hear a voice mail from the Black Eyed Peas and enter to win a RETH¿NK T-shirt made out of recycled plastic water bottles!”

The Black Eyed Peas put on an amazing show for their hometown Los Angeles crowd and for the cameras that were broadcasting the show live in theaters across the country in 3D!  Way to spread the message of “Where’s the Love” to a massive audience.  A star studded night included Ludacris,Jason Beiber, Slash and a bunch of celebrities in the audience shakin’ it with the crowd (especially when WILL.I.AM dj’ed a killer set!)

“Im a Be” really excited to see what they do next!

5 Gyres is a non-profit enviro group started by Algalita Marine Research Foundation who is dedicated to understanding plastic pollution through exploration, education, and action.

Earlier this year they set sail to research plastic pollution in the Atlantic Ocean, something that has never been investigated before. You may be familiar with the term “Pacific Garbage Patch” as this is the body of water between the U.S. and Asia.  5 Gyres is on many expeditions to research the other 5 gyres globally.

Partnered with Pangaea Explorations, their sailing vessel, they will be heading out on expeditions for the next year. If you want to join them, check out the 5 Gyres brochure below.

Rethink Fabrics has supplied them with a 100% recycled bottle t-shirts!

Bon Voyage and good luck crew!
