RETH¿NK and hummel partnered up in 2010 to launch hummel’s new recycled line. hummel is a Danish sportswear company that believes in company karma- what goes around, comes around.
In January 2011 the partnership was announced at the handball world cup in Europe. RETH¿NK and hummel supplied the uniforms and shoes for select teams at the tournament.

Bear Naked Granola Reduce-Reuse-Repurpose Promotion

Bear Naked Granola created a line of t-shirts made out of RETH¿NK’s 100% recycled plastic RPET fabrics to help promote the brand’s Reduce Reuse Repurpose Program. Consumers are invited to collect Bear Naked wrappers and send them to the company. Bear Naked sends a t-shirt or other eco-friendly reuse awards to the consumers with education about the companies recycling program. We also call this program Extended Producer Responsibility.

For the Black Eyed Peas 2010 E.N.D. Tour, RETH¿NK partnered with will.i.am and crew on the BEP Recycling Education & Clean Energy Program. Along with other partners Green for All and League of Conservation Voters, a group of volunteers collected signatures for a clean energy petition and taught concert-goers about recycling while wearing the official Black Eyed Peas T-Shirts made with RETH¿NK’s recycled fabrics. As the main sponsor of Wimbledon and US Open, Evian France launched a baby campaign with photo/human like artwork and detailed packaging design. Evian chose Rethink because of the superiority of our RPET blend t-shirts and eco-friendly printing methods to produce a line of t-shirts for their ongoing tennis events. The line was packaged and sold at Evian select retail locations.

The Earth Day line included t-shirts, children’s apparel, infant and toddler apparel, hoodies/fleece, sleepwear and accessories made with RETH¿NK’s unique line of fabrics.

RETH¿NK sponsors 5 Gyres, who is a non-profit research team that visits the 5 major gyres around the globe to research plastic pollution. They gather remnants of plastic from the gyres and measure the mass, size, color and type of plastic pollution that is floating in these parts of the ocean. 5 Gyres’ goal is to educate people on the importance of avoiding plastic packaging in order to preserve the environment and ultimately the future.
